STEREOTYPES IN AMERICA

A Collection Of Monologues

About All The Things You're NOT Supposed To Talk About

Stereotypes In America is a collection of monologues about race, religion, appearance, and sexuality in today’s society.

Capturing the stories of a Black man who complains that the stereotypes of African Americans don’t reflect who he is, a Muslim girl standing her ground against a lecture on the futility of her religion, a woman explaining the truth about curvy figure, and many more, the voices merge to combat the stereotypes of America.

A teen-friendly version can be brought to high schools with the original cast, as a one-woman show by Adrienne Nadeau, or performed by your students. This production is a great event for Black History Month, Women's History Month, awareness campaigns, or to spark discussion.
